5 Star Texas Mini – Armored Steel Reactive Star Target for Shooting

This is MR TARGET®’s version of the classic spinning competition target, commonly referred to as the Texas Star. Redesigned for unmatched portability, this system is more compact and modular than any comparable product on the market.
It includes a bracket that mounts directly to any MR TARGET® modular base. The face and arms are made from 3/8″ thick AR550 steel and come standard with 6″ target plates. Optional 8″ competition plates are also available.
Instead of traditional springs, all MR TARGET® Spinning Star systems use rare earth magnets for paddle retention. This allows for clean and consistent release, improved safety during resets, and longer operational life.
As with all MR TARGET® systems, this target is built to be modular and portable, seamlessly integrating with existing base setups.
Note: For rifle calibers 5.56 and above, a minimum shooting distance of 100 yards is recommended for optimal safety and target longevity.

5 STAR TEXAS MINI
Check out our version of a spinning competition target often called the TEXAS STAR.
The entire target rotates at the center and will start swinging as you knock off each of the 5 orange paddles. It gets out of control quick so be ready for some good training!
When the orange plates are shot they drop to the ground. This throws off the balance and sets the target in motion. You only have seconds to clear all 5 plates so be fast, aim true, and train often!
These types of targets are typically used in timed competitions but they are also fun for the everyday shooter.
Our new designs make this system more portable than any other system on the market. The face and arms are all 3/8″ thick AR550 but our system has shorter arms and the 6″ target plates instead of the standard 8″ plates. Larger plates are available if you want them.
All of our spinning star design systems use RARE EARTH MAGNETS instead of springs. This allows for clean and consistent release, longer life, and safer operation when resetting the paddles.
We design all our systems to be modular and portable so this target is built to fit on your existing MR TARGET base system.
