5 STAR TEXAS MINI
This is our version of a spinning competition target often called the TEXAS STAR. Our new designs make this system more portable than any other system on the market. A bracket is included that allows them to drop right on the MR TARGET base that you already own… or you can select one from the dropdown below. The face and arms are all 3/8″ thick AR550 and have 6″ target plates. 8″ competition plates are also available. All of our spinning star design systems use RARE EARTH MAGNETS instead of springs. This allows for clean and consistent release, longer life, and safer operation when resetting the paddles. We design all our systems to be modular and portable so this target is built to fit on your existing MR TARGET base system.
For rifle calibers 5.56 and up, MR TARGET recommends a minimum 100y distance for safety and longevity of your target.
5 STAR TEXAS MINI
Check out our version of a spinning competition target often called the TEXAS STAR.
The entire target rotates at the center and will start swinging as you knock off each of the 5 orange paddles. It gets out of control quick so be ready for some good training!
When the orange plates are shot they drop to the ground. This throws off the balance and sets the target in motion. You only have seconds to clear all 5 plates so be fast, aim true, and train often!
These types of targets are typically used in timed competitions but they are also fun for the everyday shooter.
Our new designs make this system more portable than any other system on the market. The face and arms are all 3/8″ thick AR550 but our system has shorter arms and the 6″ target plates instead of the standard 8″ plates. Larger plates are available if you want them.

SELECT A BASE
The secret to a good target is an excellent base (yeah, we trademarked that). We recommend one of our modular armored bases for greatest ease of use, sturdiness, and reliability. Our uprights pull right out of our H-bases allowing you to lay them flat in your truck, case, or bag and put them back together in seconds without tools.
Want a more permanent option? Pound the upright right into the ground or lay it in with some concrete. The AR500 plating will protect your armored target base, deflecting thousands of pistol and rifle rounds (seriously, you’ll be handing this thing down to your grandkids).
And finally, while we always recommend splurging that little extra for one of our virtually indestructible armored bases, we do offer a “budget friendly” 2×4 base kit for the DIY backyard shooter.
TALL ARMORED BASE
Standing at 40” tall, this target base will raise your target to a more natural shooting position to promote muscle memory for close quarters training. This base has an armored center post to withstand thousands of rifle and handgun rounds.
FULLY ARMORED RANGE BASE (RECOMMENDED)
This target base is armored from top to bottom. Great protection for long range rifle, commercial ranges, rental targets, and FULL AUTO. No stray bullets will be punching holes in this base. 30″ tall.
ARMORED BASE
This base has a low-profile armored center post that withstands every kind of abuse and will work with any of our reactive or plate targets. 30” tall.
2X4 WOOD BASE KIT
For shooters with a tight budget, we offer our 2×4 base and bracket kits. Steel base and top bracket protected by an AR500 armored circle plate. Choose Top Bracket only or Top Bracket & H Base combo. (2X4 NOT included)
ACCESSORIZE
Your MR TARGET armored target base includes a dual bracket for mounting your LARGE HOSTAGE target and one of our MR TARGET accessories, such as THE 2 GONG RACK (shown here with 4",5", and 8" gongs). Just select “I already have a base” from the drop down options, and choose your gong sizes.

DUAL SPINNER TARGETS
NO tools, NO nuts or bolts, NO bearings… Made from 100% AR500 steel and able to withstand thousands of rifle and pistol rounds*.
Our quality Dual Reactive Spinner Targets can be used in a stand-alone configuration or as an accessory with our steel and rubber target silhouettes. NOTE: For our 3-zone target silhouettes, check out the TACTICAL III and F CLASS SPINNER. NOTE: Dual Spinner interferes with targets that have a center-mass flipper. For targets like the Tactical II or Super Sniper, we recommend the SPINNER GONG COMBO.
